  • Just over 10 years ago, our head grower decided it was time to branch out from her long term retail gig in an organic food store into growing her own nourishing and creative enterprise.

No doubt the retail experience and visual arts training equipped Sarah for the life of a newbie market gardener and educator. It’s a pathway that’s been rich in experiences.

When not immersed in the backyard wonderland Sarah can be found in the Outdoor Living Classroom at Kemblawarra Public School.

She is also one of the co hosts of Foodtalks Illawarra and Bulli Crop Swap along with Suzy Pickles and Emma Huber.

Anytime you’d like to up your edible wonderland growing skills, Sarah is also more than happy to pop round to your patch for a walk and talk garden consult.

Listen in the the recent chat Sarah had with Felicity & Joe on Kiama Community Radio Program Grow and Sow.

  • Is often found deep in a building project, favourite materials are salvaged ones he can repurpose.

With a background in education, his talent for being able to translate complex subjects into easily digestible language is greatly appreciated.

Patience is his super power when working with infrastructure and he most appreciates starting the day in the surf.

Popes Produce is a suburban backyard wonderland creating experiences reconnecting busy folk to tasty homegrown and handbuilt ways to enjoy life.
