Each week between October and May, we harvest the abundance to share with locals. From salad mix to rainbow chard, beetroots, beans, bananas, fennel……
The subscription service works on a 10 week round, at $300 for the full round.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) on which this model is based, requests the customer commits financially up front for the duration of the round thereby sharing the risk with the grower.
If the customer is going to be away for a week, we request they find a friend to pay their produce forward to (or we can) as we haven't found a way to put vegetable growth on hold.
We send an email each Monday informing customers what produce to anticipate in their harvest share on Thursday pick up. Produce shares are ready for pick up between midday - 7pm (unfortunately we can't offer delivery)
Usually it's a selection of 7 different types of crops wrapped in a large cloth to be returned & reused.
